Holofernes and St.John the Baptist chit-chatting
Historical incorrect since H. comes from the Old, St.J. from the New testament, and they even stood on opposite sides. They met in the way of their demise, however.
Update: Almost 2 1/2 years after creating this picture, I really have
to admit that I don't like its theme anymore. I dislike the pseudo-sarcasm that I felt
when I made it. There, I said it. I have not turned into a political- or religious-correct
do-gooder, I just don't think it is as funny as I thought it was. In fact, it's
just dumb. What I do like after all is the technique. I still believe,
that it's quite well done, and instead of quietly removing it from this gallery,
I leave it in addition with this little comment.
Even artists have a further development, thank goodness.
